Build on existing work
Review publications, protocols, measurement tools and available findings to determine what can be reused, adapted or requires further study. Assess an interrupted study by its quality and the reason it stopped.
A protocol may deserve further examination even when its development has paused. Synativ aims to connect project holders with scientific, clinical and editorial expertise and potential partners.
Development framework · Preparation phaseStudies paused for lack of resources, existing protocols, preliminary findings or research questions. Priority directions include fibromyalgia, persistent pain, sensory processing and function.
Provide the question, authors and institution, actual status, protocol or registry ID, available findings and needs. If funding caused the interruption, include the documenting source. Do not send identifiable patient data in the initial exchange.
Scientific review, protocol adaptation, clinical partnership, resource development or a review publication can be discussed. Author consent, rights, governance and resources must be defined before any continuation.
Synativ’s founding strategy is to identify existing studies, protocols and knowledge whose development could continue with new partners. Fibromyalgia and persistent pain are the initial priorities.
Review publications, protocols, measurement tools and available findings to determine what can be reused, adapted or requires further study. Assess an interrupted study by its quality and the reason it stopped.
Discuss rights, document access and collaboration or co-leadership with authors and institutions. Contributions retain attribution; arrangements must be agreed with those responsible.
The aim is to reduce duplication in preparation and direct resources toward protocol adaptation, appropriate supervision, measurement and analysis. Potential savings will be assessed for each project.
Haim Berrebi contributes practitioner experience and develops the initiative. Scientific, medical, methodological and statistical expertise will be assembled according to the selected protocol and implementation context. Required specialist roles will be defined with partners; no assembled research team is announced at this stage.

Specify what is measured, the tool, timing and analysis plan for each project. In fibromyalgia, pain, fatigue, sleep and daily function are dimensions to examine with partners.
